I had the opportunity to help the scriptwriter for an episode of NBC's Law & Order a while back. I have long been an advocate of the Gemprint® system which was a key element of the story. Later, I was interviewed about my participation by Gary Roskin, G.G., FGA who was writing an article for JCK. Below is the article that appeared in the April, 2001 issue of JCK. I've also included an article from the same issue about "The Old Switcheroo", a problem that Gemprint® could (at that time) have been used to combat. Gemprint® has since been acquired by Collectors Universe and is available to the general public only in conjunction with the G-CAL diamond certificate.
